Operating Principle
Wheel Flight, Non Synchronous

Drive Package
BMCD (Bottom Mounted Center Drive) is standard; SMED (Side Mounted End Drive) is optional. BMCD drives are our heaviest duty drive arrangement. They may be used in reversing service. If a pallet return line is to be located below the AW82 process line, the SMED drive arrangement should be selected for both the process and return line.

Line Speed
Line speeds of 20 through 60 FPM are common, though other speeds are available. Check with the factory to discuss your unique service requirements.

Chain
A 2" pitch, power and free, steel, carrier roller chain with 1.575" diameter steel or plastic side rollers located every pitch on alternating sides.

Sprockets
A.S.A. steel sprockets with hardened teeth are provided as drivers and idlers. We equip counter-bored idler sprockets with sealed, ball bearings. These sprockets have been selected for use in continuous, industrial service.

Track
HI-LOAD steel track supports heavy line loading. Transporter pallets and chain are side guided by durable, ultr high molecular weight plastic. Return chain is enclosed in a steel tube and rolls quietly on a UHMW surface.

Capacity
AW82 lines have conveyed loaded pallets weighing up to two lones. The greater strength of AW82 chain permits the use of longer drives with less panel I/O requirements whether unit loads are heavy or totla chain pull is high.
